My client is currently looking for an online marketing professional to lead the online marketing efforts of its e-commerce activity. Please see below for overview and qualifications.
Position Overview:
Responsible for the day-to-day strategy and execution in new online customer acquisition and revenue enhancement by generating traffic and sales from external programs such as paid search, shopping comparison engines and other external programs as they come to market. Identify new opportunities that drive revenue and customer acquisition within predetermined budget guidelines.

Essential Functions:
Establish cooperative relationships and assume role of day-to-day contact with online vendors (Google, WebTrends, Yahoo, Shopzilla, etc).
Participate in all aspects of marketing company’s brand, services and products with external marketing partners.
Continual evaluation of existing external marketing program while identifying and implementing new programs, campaigns and initiatives to address opportunity areas Send and/or schedule ads and flag data feed items for external partners in the established formats and gain assistance from marketing coordinator as necessary.
Work with technical team to ensure data feeds are properly processed and tracking mechanisms are in place and working properly.
Thoroughly understand all partner deadlines, specifications, data feeds, ad submission systems, and tracking systems.
Work with cross-functional team to take the company promotional calendar and leverage promotions onto “real world” external marketing opportunities.
Work with merchandise team to pick products that maximize sales within predetermined budget guidelines.
Accurately track and monitor all external partner placements including category sales, clicks, and overall sales of each asset on a weekly basis.
Utilize analytics tools such as WebTrends to analyze and understand customer acquisition expenses and new customer lifetime value metrics.
Continually analyze numbers to find challenges and opportunities and strategize with marketing director on how to optimize placements.
Report key sales and analytic metrics to all stakeholders.
Work with marketing director to target new e-commerce partners and streamline and/or enhance placement with current partnerships and negotiate new and extended contracts with favorable terms.
Closely monitor competition and understand where they’re advertising, what they’re advertising (product specific ads, branding ads, category specific ads), and how they’re advertising (banner ads, search ads, rich-media, video) and make recommendations on how Company should execute.
Continually perform research and analysis on online marketing trends and attend industry events as designated by marketing director.
Work with marketing director to provide creative direction for all external advertisements and communicate to traffic coordinator for work order creation.
Develop creative briefs with messaging for marketing coordinator and traffic coordinator to work from.
Work closely with Traffic Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator as well as Graphic Designers and Copywriters.
